Clockwerk ist ein Live-MPC-Performer und Fingerdrumming-Artist.
Er ist ein Virtuose an den Drumpads und performt mit AKAI und Ableton-Geräten in ganz Deutschland, aber auch in diversen Ländern Europas. Dabei spielte er auf verschiedensten Bühnen, u.A. mit Künstlern wie Evidence, Betty Ford Boys, Figub Brazlevic & OFT, Amewu, DJ Stylewarz, Pete Rock, Chefket, DJ Robert Smith, uvm.
Clockwerks Live-Skillz gehen weit über den gewöhnlichen BoomBap-Sound hinaus. Er ist nicht einem bestimmten Genre zuteilbar, wandert zwischen den Beatwelten und stellt allerhöchstes Niveau, was das Live-Drumming angeht, auf der MPC dar.
Zudem ist Clockwerk extrem umtriebig – er tourt viel, spielt Street-Sessions, taucht spontan in Cyphers auf und ist Teil diverser Projekte.
2018 spielte Clockwerk mehrere Gigs zusammen mit Fifi The Raiblaster aus Südafrika und arbeitete mit der Jazzband Birdmoves zusammen.
Aktuelle Beiträge gibt es von Clockwerk auf der East-West Session EP von Figub Brazlevic und dem BeatsOnTheRoad Sampler von Ear-Sight, die beide 2018 erschienen sind.
Clockwerk gibt zudem diverse Fingerdrumming-Workshops (SMF, TimeTools Trial & Error Music Conference, uvm..) und arbeitete im Rahmen der UNESCO City of Music in Hannover mit Geflüchteten zusammen.
Für die Vot001 Collectors Box hat sich Clockwerk ins Studio begeben und ein jazzy boombap beat in die mpc gezimmert. Der typische Clockwerk Sound besticht auch in diesem Song durch sein dynamisches livedrumming und die akzentuierte Sample Auswahl. Noch sind die Vinylveröffentlichungen von Clockwerk eher rar. Wir sind uns sicher, dass sich dieses in naher Zukunft ändern wird, da der Live MPC Meister kontinuierlich in verschiedensten Projekten aktiv ist und seine Akais die keinen Off Schalter besitzen.

Clockwerk is a live MPC performer and finger drumming artist. He is a virtuoso on the drum pads and performs with AKAI and Ableton devices all over Germany, but also in various European countries. He played on various stages, including gigs with artists like Evidence, Betty Ford Boys, Figub Brazlevic & OFT, Amewu, DJ Stylewarz, Pete Rock, Chefket, DJ Robert Smith, and many more. Clockwerk's live skills go far beyond the usual BoomBap sound. It cannot be assigned to a specific genre, it wanders between the beat worlds and represents the very highest level of live drumming at the MPC.
Clockwerk is also extremely busy - he tours a lot, plays street sessions, appears spontaneously in Cyphers and is part of various projects. In 2018 Clockwerk played several gigs with Fifi The Raiblaster from South Africa and worked with the jazz band Birdmoves. There are current contributions from Clockwerk on the East-West Session EP by Figub Brazlevic and the BeatsOnTheRoad sampler by Ear-Sight, both were released in 2018. Clockwerk also gives various finger drumming workshops (SMF, TimeTools Trial & Error Music Conference, etc.) and worked with refugees as part of the UNESCO City of Music in Hanover.
For the Vot001 Collectors Box, Clockwerk went into the studio and carved a jazzy boombap beat into the mpc. The typical Clockwerk sound is also impressive in this song with its dynamic livedrumming and the accentuated sample selection. Vinyl releases by Clockwerk are still rather rare. We are sure that this will change in the near future, as the live MPC meister is continuously active in various projects and his Akais have no off switch.
