"April 2017, Altona, Regen.

"April 2017, Altona, rain. The cellar dweller and the city slicker from the village had a get-together. The needle hits the 7“, a game of chess was played, the candle-light was just right and the wine was delicious. At the end of the evening there was no real winner, but the idea was born to release a record by themselves. Together with Madin. And Haevecker's flower-press. It would be a release to celebrate the 131st birthday of the vinyl record.
Berlin-based live MPC wizard and finger-drumming maestro Clockwerk and Block Barley, sample aficionado and loop minister, were easily convinced. The treasure hunt had started. After following numerous phone calls and late night discussions, hope was at the end of the tunnel.

The design is by Rentzscher, the unborn and self-adopted son of Horst Janssen. With assistance by Kunister´s lazerhand and Rasmutins punch. Fred managed to hold the party together by managing and massaging the egos. And finally two songs were produced.

The two dreamers hasted from Berlin to Hamburg to have the tapes mastered by "Through My Speakers" mastermind Lucas at the Hesse Labor. Although the Dortmund original brought them closer to the advantages of his adopted home into the early hours of the morning, he showed himself the next day as a virtuoso on the controls and gave the production a soulful WalterVinyl sound garb on the journey.

Now they only had to squeeze out the piggy-banks of friends and relatives, pneumatically press the cliché of the Ameise into the vinyl and stamp the logo in the collector´s box.

The profits should not evaporate into an account of any social bureaucracy machinery, but land in the form of a drum machine with the help of "Musiker ohne Grenzen" in Kingston. Or at least in the Osdorfer Born."
